Exploring the World of Data (? XP)

Why should we learn data science? Before next weeks class please read this article.

This challenge is meant to give you a fun introduction to exploratory data analysis.

• First, I would like you to explore kaggle and find a dataset that interests you, it can be on any topic from avocado weights to cardiovascular disease.
• Using your dataset I would like you to visualize one numerical variable using a histogram and a boxplot. This should be followed by a brief description of the data including summary statistics.
• Data anaylsis should be compeleted using an R-Markdown notebook.
• You will earn XP based on your performance in class, and the quality of your report.

For this challenge you may work alone, or in groups of 2-3. LET THE GAMES BEGIN. To gain XP, your report must be shown to Mr. Merrick in class.
